Yuva Sathi Scheme 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the Banglar Yuva Sathi Prakalpa, make sure you meet all the following eligibility conditions set by the West Bengal government:

Who is Eligible?

  • Permanent Resident of West Bengal — Valid domicile proof required
  • Age between 21 and 40 years as on April 1, 2026 (born between January 1, 1986 and January 1, 2005)
  • Passed Madhyamik (Class 10) or equivalent board examination from WBBSE, CBSE, or ICSE
  • Currently unemployed and actively seeking employment
  • Scholarship holders are eligible — Aikyashree, Medhasree, Kanyashree, Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship recipients CAN apply
  • Distance or correspondence learners may apply (subject to clarification from the department)

Who is NOT Eligible?

  • Applicants from states other than West Bengal
  • Anyone with a regular full-time or part-time government or private job
  • Those on contractual employment
  • Applicants already receiving Yuvashree or Yuva Utsaha Prakalpa benefits
  • Those receiving financial assistance from other state social security schemes (Lakshmi Bhandar, Old Age Pension, etc.)
  • Full-time college or university students
  • Persons who have not completed Class 10 / Madhyamik

Documents Required for Yuva Sathi Application

Keep the following documents ready before applying at a camp or online. Scanned files should be in PDF format, maximum 300 KB each:

  • Madhyamik or equivalent Admit Card (PDF, max 300 KB)
  • Madhyamik or equivalent Mark Sheet / Certificate (PDF, max 300 KB)
  • Aadhaar Card (linked to your active bank account)
  • Bank Passbook (first page with account number and IFSC)
  • Passport-size Photograph
  • Domicile / Residence Proof (voter ID, ration card, etc.)

Applicants must fill three forms: Application Form, Self-Declaration Form, and Bank Mandate Form. All three are available at official camps and the online portal.

How to Apply for Yuva Sathi Scheme 2026?

The Banglar Yuva Sathi Prakalpa offered two modes of application — offline through Duare Sarkar camps and online through the official portal.

Offline Application (Duare Sarkar Camps)

  1. Locate the nearest Duare Sarkar camp in your Assembly Constituency (camps were held February 15–26, 2026)
  2. Carry all original documents and filled forms
  3. Submit application to camp officials
  4. Collect acknowledgment receipt with unique Application ID
  5. Use Application ID to track status later at yubasathi.wb.gov.in

Online Application Steps

  1. Visit the official portal: yubasathi.wb.gov.in or apas.wb.gov.in
  2. Click on "Click to Apply" for Banglar Yuba Sathi scheme
  3. Register using your mobile number and verify OTP
  4. Fill in personal details, Class X marks, and bank account information
  5. Upload scanned copies of Madhyamik admit card and marksheet (PDF, max 300 KB)
  6. Upload Aadhaar and passport photo
  7. Submit all three forms and note down your Application ID

Approved beneficiaries can check their Yuva Sathi payment status online using the official portal. Payments are credited monthly between the 1st and 10th of each month via Aadhaar-based DBT.
