What is Annapurna Bhandar Scheme?

Annapurna Bhandar (also called Annapurna Yojana) is a West Bengal Government welfare scheme that credits ₹3,000 per month directly to the Aadhaar-linked bank account of eligible women beneficiaries, totalling ₹36,000 per year. 13-Page Form Structure: Section A to H

The form is divided into 8 colour-coded sections spread across 13 pages. Each section gathers data that will be verified by BDO / SDO officers during the ground-truthing stage and then uploaded to the central portal for final approval by District Magistrates or the KMC Commissioner.

Section A — Family Identity (Parichiti)

This is the first and longest section, covering all 12 identification fields for the Head of Family (HOF) and every adult member of the household. Fill the HOF details on page 1, then list each adult member on subsequent pages of this section.

• Mobile number linked to Aadhaar, alternate mobile
• Full residential address with PIN code and post office
• For each adult member: name, Aadhaar, EPIC, relation with HOF, age, marital status, occupation
• For children below 5: name and Aadhaar (NA if not issued)

Section B — Ration Card Details

This section captures your Public Distribution System (PDS) linkage. Three fields are mandatory for all ration-card holders.

• Ration card type: AAY, PHH, SPHH, or RKSY
• Ration card number (12-digit)
• Fair Price Shop (FPS) number and dealer name

Section C — Household Assets (Sampad)

This is the most-detailed section. The form explicitly asks whether the house has 3 or more permanent pucca rooms and whether the family owns land or a non-commercial four-wheeler. Five fields in total.

• Housing: Number of pucca rooms (Y/N for 3+), ownership status (owned / rented / government-allotted)
• Land: Y/N, total area in decimals, Record of Rights (RoR) number, mutation certificate number, latest land-registration document

Section D — Income & Employment

This section screens out income-tax payers and government employees, the two biggest exclusion categories. Eight fields.

• Primary and secondary income sources (agriculture, daily-wage, business, salary, pension, remittance)
• HOF employment status (employed / self-employed / unemployed / homemaker / student)
• Applicant's specific employment status
• PAN card number (if any)

• Any family member drawing a government pension? (Y/N)

Section E — Other Identity Documents

This section is for additional identity numbers that the verifier will cross-check at the BDO counter. Three fields.

• Aadhaar (12-digit, confirm bank-link status)
• Voter ID / EPIC number
• Swasthya Sathi card number (West Bengal's universal health-cover card, if issued)

Section F — Social Status

Two fields. The caste certificate is only required if you claim SC / ST / OBC minority status; disability disclosure is optional but helps with future scheme prioritisation.

How to Apply Offline (BDO / SDO / Janakalyan Shibir)

Offline submission is the recommended route for rural applicants and for anyone who is not comfortable with online upload. The state has set up three tiers of physical counters plus special camps.

How ₹3,000 DBT Reaches Your Account

Annapurna Bhandar is a pure Direct Benefit Transfer scheme. The state credits the monthly ₹3,000 only to the bank account that is Aadhaar-seeded in the NPCI mapper. If the Aadhaar-bank link is broken or points to the wrong account, the payment will bounce back to the state treasury.

1. State Treasury initiates the monthly ₹3,000 credit for verified Annapurna Bhandar beneficiaries.
2. NPCI Mapper routes the payment to the bank account that is Aadhaar-seeded in the beneficiary's name.
3. Bank (Aadhaar-seeded) receives the credit instruction and verifies the Aadhaar-bank mapping.
4. ₹3,000 credited to Account: the monthly benefit is deposited in the beneficiary's bank account, typically within the official disbursement cycle.
